I too was pleasantly surprised by VV when a Spanish couple who frequented my store asked my to bring one in for them. I brought in three and they were all delicious!

I also wanted say that I like your blog. Approachable, unpretentious and doubles as a research project Too funny that you caught my Kriss Kross twitter reference just then!

Some of the wines I’ve really enjoyed prior to embarking on my “learn about wine” project have been VVs. They’re perfect for mid-summer!

Here’s what I love about Vinho Verde. We’ve all got friends and family that claim to hate wine. Pour a glass of crispy cold VV, and that person is liable to say, “Wow, that’s nice!”
